Course Description

Despite access to extensive volumes of information, organizations risk poor decision-making if that information is misapplied. To become effective at solving problems, we need to know how to identify and define a problem. In this course you'll apply common models of logic and analysis to identify root causes in business scenarios using quantitative and qualitative information.

Note: UofL students who wish to take this course for credit must register through the Bridge.

Learner Outcomes

Participants will apply analytical tools to assess the quality of reasoning underlying business thinking.  They will learn the skills required for problem framing and understand how to reframe business problems.

  • The class for May 8th will be delivered via Zoom from 6:00 pm – 8:45 pm.
  • Participants will meet in person on Wednesday, May 15th from 6:00 pm – 8:45 pm in S7025.
  • All other learning activity will be completed virtually.
  • Non-student participants will be eligible for up to 12 hours of CPD credit
